Designs by Dutka is a residential design practice operated by Wes Dutka in West Kelowna, British Columbia. Questions, access requests or concerns about personal information can be sent to wes@designsbydutka.com.
Information you choose to provide
If you use the project inquiry form or contact Designs by Dutka directly, the information received may include your name, email address, telephone number, project location, project type, timing, property status and the project details you provide.
This information is used to review and respond to your inquiry, assess whether a project may be a suitable fit, communicate with you and, if you become a client, administer the resulting business relationship.
Contact-form delivery
The inquiry form uses FormSubmit to deliver the information you enter to Designs by Dutka by email. FormSubmit acts as a service provider for that delivery. You may also contact Designs by Dutka directly by email instead of using the form.
Website analytics and cookies
With your permission, this website uses Google Analytics to understand general website traffic and how visitors use the site. Analytics information may include pages viewed, interactions, approximate geographic area, referral source, browser, device and similar technical information. Designs by Dutka does not use Google Analytics to collect your name, email address or project-form answers.
Google Analytics is optional. It remains off unless you select Accept analytics in the cookie notice. If you decline, the Google Analytics tag is not loaded. You can revisit your choice at any time using Cookie settings in the footer of the website.
Service providers and processing outside Canada
Designs by Dutka uses service providers for website hosting, form delivery, email and analytics. These providers may process information in Canada, the United States, India or other jurisdictions, where it may be subject to the laws of those places. Their handling of information is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
Retention and safeguards
Inquiry and client information is kept only as long as reasonably necessary to respond, provide services, maintain appropriate business records and meet legal or accounting obligations. Designs by Dutka uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet transmission or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Sharing and sale of information
Designs by Dutka does not sell or rent personal information. It may be shared with service providers as described above, with your direction or consent, or when disclosure is required or permitted by law.
Your choices and rights
You may ask what personal information Designs by Dutka holds about you and request access to it or correction of inaccurate information, subject to applicable legal exceptions. You may also withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice.
